“ Love the dim sum! Cheap, not compromising on quality. Lots of fried garlic avail. Had the green siew mai, red bean bao, har gao, crab and enoki meat paste. Everything was a hit and it’s only 205thb. Will surely come back! Plenty of seats and roadside parking is easy to find. If you’re looking for comfort dim sum you must come here. ”
“ According to my Google search, this dim sum shop was established more than 50 years ago, located near to Klong Mae Kah. A very local shop, offering various Thai Style dim sum, mainly was steamed. We have to choose from the counter next to steam station, there are three choices of freshly deep fried food from shrimp wrap, spring roll and dumplings. Interesting thing is 90% of the dim sum are actually with the same shrimp stuffing but with different combinations like fish cake, seaweed, Cabbage or baby corn. We ordered 15 dim sum total of around $460 baht. Price was very friendly. Taste is not bad, but of course cannot compare with real Hong Kong dim sum. Free ice, water and iceberg Lettuce of self service. ”
“ I don’t know how to order, but the simple way is: 1) point on the dimsum you want from the counter over the window. Pick whichever appealing (they all nice) 2) go sit down and wait your order getting steamed 3) get the self service cabbage and fried onion for the dipping. 4) enjoy your meal. I paid 116B for four different dimsum, I do not know the unit price of them separately. I think it is not cheap but not expensive either, is good experience to try how Thai people eat dimsum. ”
“ We had lunch at this place on Saturday. I do not think that the name of the place is written in English. We had used Google maps and since we did not find a spot to park, where Google Maps said the restaurant was, we stopped a bit ahead of this area and did see a dim sum place, right where we stopped. On asking the staff, it turned out that this is Toey's Dim Sum. We ahd to look around a bit to find parking on the street. They have the dim sum displayed and I believe that whatever is available is displayed there and you pick and choose from there. English is not well understood by the staff. We could not get a menu, so not sure if the practice is to look at the displayed items and order. You choose what you want at the display and it is steamed and brought to the table. The food was very tasty and quantity was also good for the price you pay. It is sort of self service as you pickup the beverages, glasses and cutlery yourselves. The empty containers and bottles are left at the table and once you are doen eating and ready to the pay the bill, the empties are counted to determine the money you have to pay. ”
“ A raw & worthy dim sum experience in off-beaten-path local neighborhood. Other reviews accurate regarding ordering protocol (important if you are a tourist schluub); I'd add that you must order steamed item at steam counter and fried item at fried counter. Fried Shrimp paste was A+ and will be the lasting memory; small shumai great, pi gwut and chive dumplings decent . Pick your own drinks from the cooler. Most tables have brown vinegar and soy; other sauces near fry station. If it was anymore self service you'd be folding your own dumpling. Servers appeared morose, at least they didn't tell us: " No dim sum for you!" ”
